Mrs. Alissa Sheaffer

I have been a member of the school’s extended family since the beginning. I have been with James Madison Preparatory School in an official capacity as an Administrative Assistant since October of 2004 and the Student Support Coordinator as of July of 2014. I earned my Associate's Degree in Human Services from Kaplan University in September of 2016.  I was born and raised in South Dakota where I worked in a private group home setting for adults with disabilities, after graduating high school. After moving to AZ, I worked for four years as a manager at the third largest bank in Arizona. Prior to coming to JMPS I was an independent provider for people with disabilities.

I am happily married to Mr. Gordon Sheaffer and we have a wonderful daughter. In my spare time, I like to travel and spending time with my friends and family.
