Spirit Links & HR Posters

Spirit links may be purchased for $1/page and are then cut into strips, and looped into a chain. They will decorate the field at the Homecoming Game on October 18.
Each page counts as 10 links for homeroom points.
Homeroom posters will be worked on in study hall during spirit week. They will be hung in the auditorium during the pep rally on Friday, October 18 and then taken to the homecoming game to be judged for Homeroom points.
The High School Homeroom with the highest points at the end of Spirit Week will win the Spirit Week Trophy, which they will keep until Spring Week.

Dance tickets will go on sale on Thursday, October 10
Dance Tickets: Dance tickets are $12 for a singles ticket, $18 for a couple’s ticket. Dance tickets can be purchased during the day at school. The deadline to purchase tickets is Thursday, October 17 .
Dress-Up Days: Students may dress up in the theme or current spring week t-shirt. The MS & HS homeroom with the highest % participation, whether themed dress up or wearing spirit shirts for the week, will win a pizza party.

*All grades with 100% participation will win a donut party!
Thursday, October 17: "Stars" Day - dress as a celebrity 
Friday, October 18: Red, White, & Blue Day 
Seniors will be offering football face painting in the morning.

Saturday, October 19: Homecoming Dance
  • Homecoming is for 9th-12th grade only.
  • Semi-formal attire is required for those in attendance.
  • The dance is from 7-11pm.
  • Gates will be closed at 8pm. Students will not be admitted, and no refunds will be given if they arrive after 8pm. This rule is for safety reasons.
  • The address of this event is printed on the tickets and is not posted for security reasons.

Dance Dress Code

  • Semi Formal Dress Code
    • From page 7 of the high school dress code: “Semi-formal” includes an outfit of appropriate formality befitting the event, such as professional business attire (blazer or sport coat, dress shirt, tie, slacks, daytime dress/skirt/top), and dress or casual professional shoes. All attire must be modest, school appropriate, and within the spirit of the JMPS Dress Code. Students may be asked to leave if they do not meet this standard.
