The Volleyball program at James Madison Preparatory has been around since the 2001/2002 school year.  We started that season playing many of our home games on the sand volleyball court right outside the doors to the school's front office.  Goodness, how things have changed!  We have grown through the years, creating a solid and consistent program.  All JMPS girls are able to join the team.  Right now there is only a varsity team.  If there is more interest in the future, we would like to expand to have a Jr. High and/or a J.V. team, keeping the consistency throughout the program.  

The typical season consists of practices, games, and training 4 days a week (M-Th), with an optional Friday practice.  We usually have 2 games a week, not including the league tournament at the end of the season.  We play in the tournament every year, striving to bring the championship trophy back to James Madison in the near future.  

Our practice location for this 2011-2012 school year will be Mesa Baptist Church.  Practices will run from 3:30-5:30.   Some of our home games will be at Gethsemane Lutheran Church and some will be at Mesa Baptist.  Most home games will start at 6:30 pm.
