Welcome to the Madison Strings webpage!  The Madison Strings program began in 2002 in response to student demand.  We meet on Monday and Thursday mornings at 7:10 a.m. until 7:55 a.m.  We have two performances a year, one during the holiday season and the other in the spring.  While strings groups are often looked at as being “stuffy”, we are definitely not that.  We do enjoy playing classical pieces, but in past concerts we have performed songs by The Beatles and Led Zepplin.  If you have experience playing the violin, viola, cello, or string bass, please come and join us.  We work hard and have a great time.
