My Biography

What a thrill it was to start teaching at JMPS in 2006!  My background was in business and communications.  For over 25 years I was involved in many aspects of radio, television, and multi-media productions.  Then, after ten years in home health care, an opportunity arose to teach junior high science at JMPS and I couldn’t resist!

I graduated twice from my college alma mater, M.B.I. in Chicago.  First was with a diploma in Communications, and again years later with a B.S. degree.

Classes are structured to involve students on many cognitive levels.  The goal is to foster enthusiasm for science and a basic understanding of its methods and importance, so students can eagerly and successfully build upon that foundation in their high school studies.
