 Physical Education Homework

My Biography

The cool weather is coming back.  Please prepare for the warm weather as well, as we see both warm and cool temperatures throughout the day in Arizona.  Also, continue to stay hydrated.

Also, remember to stay active over the weekends!  Each day you should be eating right (especially breakfast), and get plenty of sleep!

PE is a class that can be passed easily by simply bringing the proper attire, per the school handbook, and participating in the day's activity.  Follow the dress code, follow the rules, and you will be successful.

I have been teaching at JMPS since 2003.  I started as a full-time Physical Education teacher in '07/'08 having taught History, Geography, Government, and Personal Finance in past years.  I thoroughly enjoy physical activity, so I am ecstatic with teaching P.E. full-time.  I feel that physical fitness is important for living a healthy life.

I attended Northern Arizona University, graduating with a Bachelors degree in Sociology in 2002.  I completed my Personal Trainer certification through AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) in the fall of  '07.  As stated earlier, I enjoy physical activity, my favorite sport being football.  I played football for a season at NAU, and continued on, playing semi-pro for 5 seasons, including 2 Arena Football tryouts by invitation in that time period.  I am currently active as a student and instructor at Kajukembo Arizona, a mixed martial arts studio in Mesa.  I enjoy working-out and staying active, including the occasional rollerblading, hiking, or kayaking excursion with my wife (even with the new addition to our family).
