Cross Country
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS ON A GREAT SEASON. REMEMBER: OUR SPORTS BANQUET WILL BE ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8.
THE CROSS COUNTRY SEASON IS HERE! Our practices this season will be Monday through Thursday at 3:30, and will last until around 5:00. Wednesdays will be a little longer, and Tuesdays will be a little shorter. Remember to check in with the JMPS e-mail site to keep motivated and let your teammates know what you are up to. If you need to gain access, e-mail me at my staff address, and I will get you the information. YOU WILL NEED AN UPDATED PHYSICAL TO PARTICIPATE. If any runner needs a form for his/her physical, please e-mail me and I will send you one.

The JMPS Cross Country team has slowly evolved from a group of students and teachers who just enjoy running into the consistently competitive squad they are today. The Cross Country team is a dedicated group of students who run long distances in blazing heat, striving to do the best that they can do. Giving up soda and sweets for the season, these students make decisions that will not only help them to be great runners, but also live healthy lifestyles and enjoy running for life.
Race 01 September 10 Thunderbird Paseo Park, Glendale: 9:30am Race 02 September 17 Freestone Park, Gilbert 1045 E. Juniper Rd. Race 03 September 24 Reach 11 Soccer Complex Race 04 October 1 Patriot Invitational Home Meet Race 05 October 8 Evelyn Hallman Park (Tempe Canal Park) 9:30 am start, arrive by 8:30 am. Race 06 October 15 Thunderbird Paseo Park (arrive by 8:00 am) Same location as first race: parking will be an issue. Race 07 October 29 State Meet (Location TBD)
