The Madison Prep Choir program is entering its sixth year, and as is our tradition, this year will be even better than last year.  Each year the ensemble improves in singing and performance ability, and we enjoy a great deal of camaraderie and fun in rehearsals and performance.

There are currently two choral groups, the Patriot Voices and Madison Liberty.  Although both groups are open to middle and high school students alike, the Patriot Voices are open to all singers regardless of ability, while entrance to the Madison Liberty is by audition only.  Madison Liberty members must also participate in the Patriot Voices as general choristers.

The choirs perform two concerts each school year, once for the Frosty Frolics Winter Holiday Celebration in December, and again at the Fine Arts Spring Concert in the spring. 

The repertoire for both groups represents a great variety; from classical to modern, serious to comedy, Italian Renaissance madrigals, ancient folk songs, modern and pop tunes, modern folk songs, comedy songs, traditional holiday music, and twentieth century choral pieces.
