Each year the JMPS high school students have the opportunity to travel to Southern California for a New Year adventure.  Over the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday in January, we take an over night trip to see a show, visit the beach, and have fun at an amusement park. 

This year's California adventure was to Buena Park to see a show at Medieval Times and ride the coasters at Knott's Berry Farm.  Although we learn every year that taking a huge charter bus into Southern California is always an adventure in itself, riding the coasters at Knott's Berry Farm was a good way to spend a three-day weekend!

The cost of the trip was only $150 which included transportation, hotel accomodations, and the admission tickets to Knott's Berry Farm and Medieval Times.  Meals and souvenirs were an additional price at the student's expense.
