My Biography
Hi, I’m Mrs. Amy Schilling.  I am a native of Aberdeen, South Dakota and have lived in Arizona since 1996.  I received my B.S. with a major in psychology from Northern State University, Aberdeen, SD and my M.A. in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix, Phoenix, AZ.  I am an Arizona Highly Qualified Teacher for the subject of English.  I have taught at JMPS since the school opened in August of 2000. This is my ninth school year teaching English 9 and my seventh year teaching Humanities.  I am also the director of the Madison Strings program and assist in other areas of our fine arts programs.

Prior to teaching at JMPS, I worked in human resources for various corporations and non-profit organizations.  I have been married since 1995 and have two sons (the eldest born in 2005 and the second in 2007).  In my spare time I enjoy reading, playing and listening to music, exercising, and spending time with my family.  I feel very fortunate to be part of the JMPS family.  I firmly believe in the mission of the school and I am grateful to work with such a wonderful staff and student body.
